Matilda the Musical

“Sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty!”- Matilda the Musical has been a hit for over 15 years, and it’s coming to Birmingham. Based on the beloved book by Roald Dahl, the musical tells the story of a brave girl and her extraordinary mind.
Birmingham Craft Brew Festival
12th – 13th July
Birmingham Craft Brew Festival returns to The Custard Factory, showcasing a range of breweries, craft beer, street food, live acoustic music and giveaways.
Rare Plant Fair
12th July
If you’re anything like us and love plants, this is the fair for you. The Rare Plant Fair showcases fascinating and unusual plants, giving you the opportunity to shop from specialist growers and nurseries from around the country and get their expert advice.
The Birmingham Jazz & Blues Festival
18th – 27th July
The Birmingham Jazz and Blues Festival, which began in 1985, is now England’s longest-running jazz and blues festival and is one of Europe’s largest free jazz celebrations. The event offers over 150 performances, along with workshops, talks, exhibitions, and masterclasses, with attendance free for nearly all events.
Solihull Summer Fest
19th July
Celebrate 10 years of Solihull Summer Fest at Tudor Grange Park with a weekend of live music, summer vibes, and an electric open-air atmosphere. With Craig David headlining Saturday night, and a main stage full of live performances, the atmosphere is promised to be thrilling. What’s more, enjoy yourself with street food and bars to add to the Summer Festival feel.
TILT Festival
21st – 26th July
TILT is a two-week festival celebrating aerial circus and physical theatre, held in Birmingham’s renowned cultural quarter. The event features performances from international artists and industry professionals, alongside masterclasses, seminars, and networking opportunities.
