August brings the Birmingham Restaurant Festival, a month dedicated to exciting dining experiences and excellent value menus city-wide, with each restaurant creating an exclusive, great-value set menu for the festival. MADE Festival
3rd August
MADE Festival has been proud to bring world-class festival vibes to Birmingham over the past eleven years, and this year is like no other! This festival-style summer day party set in Digbeth will showcase over 200 artists, celebrating incredible music, art, and local talent. Street food from Digbeth Dining Club will keep you fueled, and live graffiti will keep you entertained – it’ll be a day to remember.
MCM Comic Con
7th – 9th August
Each year, thousands of fans attend this event. Highlights include star-studded panels, celebrity meet-and-greets, thrilling cosplay competitions, immersive live gaming zones, and access to exclusive, hard-to-find merchandise.
Birmingham Weekender
23rd – 25th August
This August Bank Holiday weekend, the free family-friendly festival will span across the city centre with colourful outdoor installations, exhilarating performances and engaging experiences, celebrating the very best local, national, and international artists. British Sign Language (BSL) interpreted and audio-described performances will take place across the event, with accessible viewing areas to allow everyone to enjoy the experience.
