To help boost the search engine rankings of our e-commerce sites, we have now developed an extension to output an XML Sitemap on all Ballyhoo Commerce websites.
The Sitemap is automatically generated, which means you don’t need to do anything to benefit from this new feature. It’s purpose it to make life easier for Google and other major search engines like Bing and Yahoo, allowing them to access a complete list of all the pages within your site quickly. This makes the search engines’ robots task of reading all of your content and successfully indexing it far more efficient.
In summary, this should mean that you will see a positive impact on your search engine rankings in the near future if you are using this version of the e-commerce system.
