As is our yearly tradition, we have once again teamed up with Pure Offices to collect donations with our fellow building residents for our local food bank, B30 & South Birmingham Foodbank.
B30 Foodbank
B30 Foodbank has been providing those in need in the local community a lifeline for over 11 years, with 100 compassionate volunteers helping out at the warehouse and undertaking supermarket collections to help the community.
With the cold winter creeping in, and the rise in food costs, more and more households in Birmingham are struggling to feed their families, and rely on these essential services to stay fed.
Ballyhoo & Pure Offices Donation
Therefore, it only felt right that we organise a collection of donations, partnering with Pure Offices Longbridge. With easy access donation boxes dotted around the communal areas of each floor of the building over a period of 4 weeks, it gave people an opportunity to help their community. We also placed a list of urgently needed items provided by B30 Foodbank beside each box, to try and get as many of the most essential items as possible.
We then made a trip to the foodbank to donate the goods, and we are thrilled to say that we were able to raise 84.3kg worth of donations.
