Earlier this week Ballyhoo launched the new website for Cambridgeshire Police Federation.
Who Are Cambridgeshire Police Federation?
Cambridgeshire Police Federation represent officers and staff in the local constabulary, providing resources including legal advice, health retreats and welfare caravan stays.
Cambridgeshire Police Federation frequently update their website with timely news and exclusive offers for serving officers, which we have been assisting with through a Support & Maintenance agreement since designing their first website launched in 2014.
The Website Project
Cambridgeshire Police Federation’s existing website was outdated and hard to navigate, partly due to it being created on Joomla.
We created a new site using world renowned CMS WordPress, making it easier for users to navigate the front end of the website, and for admins to navigate the backend to add and change content.
Ballyhoo managing director, Anthony Chaffey, has said, “We’ve had the pleasure of working with a number of Police Federations for many years now and so feel we have a good understanding of the challenges they face communicating with their members, particularly as the way they digest information has changed over the years. We were therefore delighted to get the opportunity to re-think the website and re-build using modern techniques. Cambridgeshire Police Federation were great to work with; open and receptive to ideas and clear in communicating their requirements. The end result is something we’re really proud of, we hope Cambridgeshire Police Federation will be proud of, but most importantly something their busy officers will find useful .”
