Who are Discount Fire Supplies?
Discount Fire Supplies are one of the UK’s premier retailers of fire safety products and accessories. Their extensive catalogue includes fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers and gas detectors.
Having been a client for over a decade, Discount Fire Supplies approached Ballyhoo with the need to migrate their website to WordPress, and wanted to take advantage of a website design refresh at the same time.
The Website Project
Ballyhoo migrated their existing website content, including a catalogue of over 2,000 products, to WordPress. This will allow Discount Fire Supplies to manage content and products easily, whilst giving us web developers the flexibility to add new custom features and allow the website and business to run smoothly.
Ballyhoo also refreshed the website design to modernise the site and make it easier for customers to browse products and purchase. This included accessibility improvements, such as updating colour contrasts, enhancing the homepage, updating category filters and simplifying product pages.
