Earlier this month Ballyhoo launched a rebranded website for Solsta, previously Solid State Supplies.
Who Are Solsta?
Solsta is a distributor of semiconductors and related components and modules with a keen, in-depth understanding of the products that they sell. They pride themselves on the quality that they provide, offering outstanding levels of commercial and technical support to their customers.
The Website Project
Solsta was undergoing a rebrand, meaning their website needed to be updated to be in-line with the new logo, colours and brand elements like iconography and font combinations. Ballyhoo were provided with Solsta’s new brand guidelines and logo assets and briefed to create a new website theme in line with the new brand.
In addition to updating the website with the new brand elements, we also updated the home page design to be more modern and timeless, removing little-used features and adding a new Featured Highlights section, powered by a custom-built WordPress block. We also completely rebuilt the website footer with a new, cleaner design, making it easier for customers to navigate.
Ballyhoo managing director, Anthony Chaffey, has said, “We’ve worked with Solid State Supplies, now Solsta, for many years and were thrilled to be given the opportunity to rework the website to adopt their new brand identity but, in doing so, also bring it in-line with modern design standards. We’re really pleased with the results, not only does it represent the new image for Solsta but it’s much cleaner, simpler and more contemporary.”
