Last month, Ballyhoo migrated the 2EA website to WordPress, from the previous Ballyhoo Refresh platform.
Who Are 2EA?
2EA are energy management consultants who provide advice and guidance on the legalities of energy legislation, and implementing these requirements. 2EA works with a range of clients in both the public and private sectors, including supermarkets, hotels, hospitals, and schools.
The Website Project
The Ballyhoo Refresh platform is no longer being supported, meaning that the 2EA website needed to be migrated to an alternative platform. We chose WordPress as it is the most popular CMS in the world – allowing users to easily and quickly add and manage content – something vital for 2EA.
During the migration process, we focused strongly on maintaining 2EA’s SEO and web presence, taking extra steps to ensure that search engines continue to discover the website. Beyond launch, we are also able to edit website pages for SEO best practice using WordPress’ in-built tools.
Ballyhoo managing director, Anthony Chaffey, has said, “Having achieved some amazing results with the digital marketing and search engine optimisation of the 2EA website, we were sure to tread carefully carrying out a migration of this scale. However, we were keen to unlock the opportunities available to us when using the WordPress platform. All of our metrics are looking positive, though, and we’re already looking ahead to the next 12 months of marketing activities.”
