As 2025 comes to an end, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on Ballyhoo’s accomplishments and celebrate our wins from the past year.

Team Milestones

This year, our team has celebrated some big milestones. Sam, our marketing manager and front-end developer has been with us for 13 years, our back-end developer James has been with us for 11 years, and Rebecca celebrated 4 years with us! We think the world of our team and know that they make Ballyhoo what it is today.

Ballyhoo Turns 16

This year, we celebrated Ballyhoo turning 16 years old – that’s the average life span of a wolf! We are so proud of how much we have accomplished in our 16 years, and we are very grateful to our amazing clients who have supported us throughout our journey. We even have seven clients who have been with us from the very beginning!

Awarded Gold Award Fair Payment Code

This year, we have been awarded the Fair Payment Code Gold Award by the Office of the Small Business Commissioner (OSBC) on behalf of the Department for Business and Trade. This award rewards businesses for adopting fair payment practices for suppliers, specifically focusing on small suppliers, with the Gold category celebrating businesses that pay at least 95% of all invoices from suppliers within 30 days. This achievement showcases our commitment to building and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers.

Awarded Ethical Business Excellence Award 2025

We have won the Ethical Business Excellence Award 2025 in the UK Enterprise Awards 2025 hosted by SME News. These awards honour businesses in a range of industries and celebrate the best of the best. We feel that this award truly represents what Ballyhoo stands for – being a committed business, having ethical values, morals and principles.

Awarded Best Family-Run Design Agency 2025 Midlands

In addition to the Ethical Business Excellence Award, we also won the Best Family-Run Design Agency 2025 Midlands in the UK Enterprise Awards 2025. This award recognises the hard work and resilience of Ballyhoo.

Community

B30 Food Donation

Continuing our annual tradition, we organised a food donation drive with our fellow residents of Pure Offices Longbridge to collect for the B30 Foodbank. We dropped the boxes of donations at the local donation point, also making a cash donation, which helps the foodbank to purchase items that they need.

Christmas Donation

Instead of sending our clients Christmas gifts, we opted to make a charitable donation. Each of our team members nominated their preferred organisation, with clients voting on a poll to choose one charity from the shortlist.

We are proud to have made a donation to Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity.

Children in Need

In November, we were proud to make a donation to the important work of Children in Need, supporting children and young people throughout the UK.

Save the Children

Earlier this month, we celebrated Christmas Jumper Day, making a donation to Save the Children.

2025 Projects

Ongoing support and improvements for our client’s websites continues to be a large part of our daily work, but making new websites for both existing and new clients is still our passion. Here are a few website launches from this year that we’d like to celebrate:

Huvo

Following a rebrand from the previous Discount Fire Supplies, Huvo needed their website to be updated in-line with the fresh brand concept. We refreshed the website with a new custom WordPress theme; including new logos, colours and illustrations, helping to reframe the brand direction and allowing them to grow, whilst continuing to enforce their competitive edge and retain customer loyalty.

Suncompare

We launched a website for Suncompare, sister brand to Snowcompare, focusing on their new Summer focused side of the business, allowing customers to find ski resort transfers at the best price available with optional extras.

Snowcompare

We fully redesigned the Snowcompare website to increase conversions by simplifying the user journey and highlighting its already successful comparison functionality and new features.

StudioGötz

We created an immersive WordPress website for specialist architectural designers, StudioGötz, to showcase their striking visuals and projects, demonstrating their eye for detail and offering users inspiration.
