Customers with qualifying Google Workspace editions will have access to NotebookLM and NotebookLM Plus as a core service from 5th February 2025.
What is NotebookLM?
NotebookLM is an AI-powered tool that has been created to improve how Google Workspace users interact with documents and notes, boosting efficiency and productivity.
Users upload documents, including Google Docs and PDFs, for the AI trained tool to scan and analyse. Users can then ask NotebookLM questions about the documents, helping to better understand the data and extract important information.
NotebookLM for Workspace
Currently, NotebookLM Plus is available as an additional service, however, starting this month NotebookLM Plus and additional AI features will now be available as core services to qualifying Workspace customers. Features include notebook customisation, advanced sharing, usage analytics, and more audio overviews, queries, notebooks, and sources.
NotebookLM will be available to those on Business Starter, Frontline Starter, Frontline Standard, Essentials Starter, Essentials, Enterprise Essentials and Nonprofits, with NotebookLM Plus available to Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Standard and Enterprise Plus.
