We received a certificate today to let us know that, as part of our hosting provider Rackspace‘s partnership with the International Tree Foundation, trees have been planted in the UK to counteract our server’s carbon emissions.
Only tree species that are indigenous to the UK, like Rowan, Whitebeam, Lime, Ash, Hornbeam, Oak, Birch, Beech, Hazel, Goat Willow, and White Poplar, are planted. These help replenish our depleted woodlands and reduce the harmful effects of carbon emissions in our country.
As an environmentally conscious company we’re really pleased that this scheme is in place and you too can be proud that your website is part of it.
