Pure Offices Acquires Innovation Centre Longbridge

Ballyhoo | |

The Innovation Centre in Longbridge (home of Ballyhoo HQ) has recently been acquired by Pure Offices – a serviced office operator running centres across the UK – with our Birmingham office adding to the three existing centres in the Midlands.

Who are Pure Offices?

Pure Offices provide serviced office spaces to rent, including meeting rooms, co-working spaces and virtual offices. Since being founded in 2007, they now own over 20 locations across the UK.

Their aim is to offer quality and flexible office solutions to both small businesses and international corporate businesses. Their offices have been designed to maximise wellbeing in the workplace, providing productive and enjoyable working environments through natural light and smart interiors.

With this in mind, their key focus is sustainability and making the place of work both a positive one for individuals and the planet.

Sustainability at Pure Offices

Pure Offices have a Net Zero commitment – focusing on minimising their impact on the environment.

This includes using solar power energy, low energy lighting, and sourcing electricity from renewable sources. Additionally, 50% of their centres currently have PV panels to generate solar energy, with a focus on increasing this to almost all centres throughout this year. All electricity consumed is generated from sustainable sources and is REGO regulated – meaning it is guaranteed to be from renewable sources.

In addition to this, the company has a 90% recycling target at all centres to reduce the waste going to landfill, further helping the environment.

Building A Community

Paired with sustainability, at the heart of Pure Offices focal point is community. They hold networking and social events all year round, bringing together companies within their centres to build a strong community and promoting collaboration. This also helps with networking opportunities to help businesses to grow and prosper.

Pure Offices are also involved with the outside community as well as their centre community – running regular charity events to make an impact.

What This Means for Ballyhoo

We are big on sustainability – not only to help the environment but also as we are on the journey to become B Corp accredited. What’s more, we are strong advocates for the local community and Longbridge area – from being a proud sponsor of Longbridge Light Festival to supporting local charities such as Acorns Children’s Hospice – so we are looking forward to creating an even bigger community within the Innovation Centre itself. Of course, we are also looking forward to the events that Pure Offices regularly run – including their Fresh Fruit Fridays and monthly Brunches!

We are really excited to see what the future holds here at the Innovation Centre. You can keep up-to-date with all things Ballyhoo & Longbridge by following us on Instagram and Twitter.
