The Stratford Literary Festival

The Stratford-upon-Avon Literary Festival is one of the UK’s most significant literary events. This six-day festival attracts thousands of attendees who share a passion for books, writing, and reading, drawing them to the world-famous literary town, including award-winning authors and writers, as well as some of the biggest names from stage and screen.

National Train Day

9th May

Discover the magic of railways at the Thinktank Birmingham, perfect for families and train enthusiasts of all ages. Ride a miniature steam train in our science garden, watch the miniature model railway in action, take part in train-themed crafts, and listen to expert talks uncovering the science and history of the City of Birmingham Locomotive.
