Birmingham Bear Hunt
Throughout August
If you’ve been into Birmingham City Centre lately, you may have come across some life-sized bears. Fear not, they’re part of an installation art trail – with ten beautifully painted bears on display throughout the city, for families to find and admire. This installation is part of a fundraiser for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity – a perfect day out during the School Holidays, whilst supporting an important cause.
Beyond Van Gogh
Throughout August
The new, immersive experience combines 300 of Van Gogh’s famous pieces with technology and a music soundtrack to tell the story of the celebrated artist.
Birmingham Rocks
Throughout August
Snobs welcomes live bands from Rock n Roll to Ska and Soul, every Sunday with free admission.
Coventry Pride
3rd August
After last month’s Birmingham Pride, the celebrations continue with Coventry Pride – celebrating love, diversity and community. The celebrations include local business stalls, performances, activities, and delicious food and drink.
Birmingham Weekender
23rd-26th August
The city’s largest free cultural festival runs over one weekend in August, with dance, music and film performances, and art installations, celebrating the best artists in the West Midlands.
