As the evenings get lighter it feels like we finally have more hours in the day (which we literally will, come the clock change on 30th March!) and that means we have more time to discover the area’s best events this month.

Wizard of Oz Drone Light Show

1st March

Dive into the Land of Oz with this magical lightshow at Edgbaston Stadium, telling the story of Dorothy and Toto. Take a visit to the food village to make an evening out of it!

Ginger’s Flea Market

2nd March

The Custard Factory welcomes a huge flea market of quality vintage fashion, homewares and collectibles and delicious street food. A great way to spend a Sunday, discovering local independent artists and thrifting some amazing finds.

British Science Week at Thinktank

15th March

Explore British Science Week at the Thinktank and celebrate this year’s theme of Change and Adapt – looking at all things nature. From making origami plant pots, to taking a climate tour and Moss safari, there’s lots to do and learn.

Cherry Blossom Day

23rd March

It feels like winter has lasted forever, but the start of Spring is coming, bringing with it the beautiful cherry blossom trees in Brindley Place. The celebration includes painting the blossoms on easels, printmaking, an art picnic, and art activities for the whole family.
