New Service – Cookie Consent for Your Website with CookieYes

Company | |

We’re excited to announce that we have partnered with CookieYes to provide management of cookie consent for our clients – helping you to stay GDPR compliant.

Having cookie consent on your website allows you to remain compliant with the law, whilst giving customers and website users reassurance, helping them to browse and shop with confidence.

How Does It Work?

Partnering with CookieYes, we can help you be compliant with UK and international laws, by placing a cookie banner on your website.

If you use cookies on your website, you are legally required to obtain consent from website users and customers before certain cookies are set on their devices. A cookie consent banner shows on your website, for users to accept or decline cookies, before browsing your website.

Google Gold Partner

CookieYes have recently become the first Google Consent Management Platform (CMP) Gold Partner, highlighting their commitment to compliance. This award has been created by Google, who is working to enhance privacy-safe ad data tracking, helping advertisers and businesses to understand and value privacy.

What’s the Process?

  • When you have a website built with Ballyhoo, cookie consent will be added as standard during website development.
  • We don’t need anything from you, you can sit back and let us do the work.
  • We use CookieYes to automatically scan your website, generating a detailed cookie audit report, for all cookies used on your website.
  • We then integrate CookieYes with your website, customising the banner to match your brand guidelines to ensure it integrates seamlessly with your branding and styles. You can also decide where the banner shows on your website.
  • We can even customise the wording (within reason!) to match your brand voice.
  • If you have an existing Ballyhoo website, and would like CookieYes cookie consent, you will need to get in touch with us so that we can add this for you.

We can automatically scan your website monthly for any new or additional cookies, adding them to the cookie consent widget, to ensure your website is compliant at all times.

Why Do Businesses Need Cookie Consent?

Cookie consent is required on websites to meet UK laws, including GDPR, and is best practice for an accessible website and to build trust with website users.

If you’re missing cookie consent from your website, or need a website redesign to bring it up-to-date with modern technology, please get in touch to discuss how we can help you.
